Elefant models a peer-to-peer market where the loss objective is minimized not against a fixed benchmark, but against the network's own collective judgment: stake-weighted, on-chain, and resistant to collusion.
We define intelligence as a parameterized function y = f(x) trained over a dataset to minimize a loss ℒ. The network is composed of n such peers, each holding stake on a digital ledger.
Peer functions
The network is a set of functions F = {f₀ … fₙ}, each a model holding stake sᵢ on a digital ledger. Together they form one stake-weighted learning objective.
Peer-ranking
Peers consume each other's outputs F(x) as inputs and learn a weight matrix W = [wᵢⱼ]. Peer i sets row i through transactions on Solana: intelligence ranking intelligence.
Stake-weighted incentive
Emission flows to peers who help minimize the loss objective, in a way that makes it costly for a small share of stake to collude rather than do useful work.
